The best place to order our software products for the first time is from the actual software product page. When you go to the products page, there is a Purchase button, as well as, towards the bottom of the page is a general price list for our software. If you are only looking to renew your license, you can use the Renewals button to the right. Lastly, you can click on Web Store to see everything that Jeff-Net offers.

Q: I have placed an order, and I am sure the order went through. What next?
A: Once we get confirmation of your order, you will receive an email from us (sometimes immediate, but always within 24 hours). If you did not give us your seed key (if required to register) during the order process, that will be the first thing we ask for from you. You can obtain this seed key to unlock and register our products by going to the About box, and clicking on the [Register] button. From there you will see a seed key displayed. It will be a series of letters. If you want to be proactive, you can email us that seed key to software (at) jeff-net.com.
 
Q: I need to renew my license. How do I do that?
A: Click on Products; then click on the product you want to renew. Once the product page displays, on the right you will see a Renewals button. Click on that.
 
Q: I placed an order, but I have not received my CD.
A: We do not ship CDs for orders. All of our software is downloaded from our site and licensed electronically. We recommend going to the page of the product your ordered to download the software, but the site download page is located here.
 
Q: I was trying to place an order and now my account is BLOCKED.
A: We have blocked your account as a safety mechanism for your credit card. Some of the times when this happens, we have done it to keep you from placing an order twice. We actually have a problem (that we're working on) where Canadian credit card orders are erroring out during the order process, BUT the card DOES get charged. We block your account to keep you from processing the order twice. When this happens, we set the order to "payment received" and reset the status of your order to "processing". We will contact you with your order information. If you do not hear from us within a hour of this 'blocking' happening, and you're trying to place an order, please contact us.
 
Q: I need pricing or a quote for a product.
A: Basic pricing for all products is now listed on the page under the "Pricing" heading on each product page. So, if you wanting to know pricing for our Report Runner Viewer product, click on Products in the menu at the top of the page, then click on Report Runner Viewer.

As for getting a quote, all you have to do is create an online order (by clicking "Purchase" on the product page), and when you check out, you can change it from the default credit card order to quote only. We will then create a quote from that "order" and email it to you in PDF format.

We do not create "manual" quotes for our software products outside of our online web store. Using our online web store allows us to tie the quote to your account, so you can look at it at any time.
 
Q: I downloaded your Report Runner Batch product to evaluate it. How do I get a trial code?
A: We need you to send us your seed key. You can obtain this seed key to unlock and register our products by going to the About box, and clicking on the [Register] button. From there you will see a seed key displayed. It will be a series of letters. Email us that seed key to software (at) jeff-net.com, and we will send you an unlock code to allow you to evaluate the product for 90 days.
 
Q: I need an invoice so I can get reimbursed.
A: When you place your order, you will get an order confirmation from the web site. After that, once we process your order, you will have an invoice attached to your order instructions once we reply back to you.
 
Q: Do you accept Purchase Orders (PO)?
A: Yes, as long as you are a customer in "good standing" with us, we will accept your purchase orders. For new customers, there is a $450 minimum. For previous customers, you can ignore the $450 minimum warning.

NOTE: If you do not pay for your "PO" placed order within 30 days, you will lose PO purchasing priviledges with us.
 
Q: We must be invoiced first, before placing an order and giving a purchase order number.
A: All orders go through our web store, and placing an order or a 'quote only' order with us is the first step in the process of receiving an invoice from us. You MUST place the order online with us first. From that order, we will generate a matching invoice for you.
 
Q: While placing an order, it's asking me about a SEED key. What is that?
A: You can obtain this seed key to unlock and register your software by going to the About box, and clicking on the [Register] button. From there you will see a seed key displayed. It will be a series of letters. We use this seed key to generate your license.
 
Q: I would like to place another order with you and have you charge me using the credit card you used last year.
A: We do not retain your credit card information. We may change this in the future, but for now, we have no way or 're-charging' you based on your last credit card order.
 
Q: I do not want to enter my credit card online. I want you to take it by phone.
A: If this is the case, you still need to place the order online. When it comes time to check out, choose to pay by check. Put a note in the notes field of your order to call you to get your credit card number by phone. We will call you when we process your order, and take your credit card number by phone.
 
Q: Can I pay by check?
A: Yes, place your order online, and when you check out, change the default credit card payment option to pay by check. We will accept your order and wait for you to mail us a check. Our address is listed on our company page.
 
Q: I need Crystal Reports consulting or training.
